Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems- reheat coils, air handling units, duct work, vents, condensation drainage.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan.
- Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and extremely accurate.
- Ability to solve problems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required, Associate degree in automotive engineering technology
- Highly 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician
- High School Diploma, GED or Tech/Trade School strongly preferred
- Valid US Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
